I must confess - I've never owned
A History of Hand Knitting, before. I've always had to get it from a library when I wanted it as a reference. I found a copy online that wasn't too expensive, so I decided to treat myself.
I love it! I'm re-reading it cover-to-cover. If you haven't read it, you really should. It's a wonderful overview of as much as anyone knows for sure about the history of our craft.
